EVOLUTION OF SLOPE SURFACE SHAPE
DURING SEDIMENT SLIDING

Evolution of slope surface shape under sliding:
Blue line represents the initial state of slope. Red line corresponds
to the moment the sliding process stops.
A layer-by-layer sliding of upper part of elastoplastic
sediment layer on slope surface formatted during sliding process is
considered.
A picture of successive position of landslide surface for different
moments in time, with time step 10 seconds is presented.
Duration of landslide process is ca. 45 seconds. Maximal velocity of
movement of landslide fore-front is ca. 6 m per second.
